Itinerary

Arrive Amman. Meet our representative. Travel through The King’s Highway, the world’s oldest continuously used trading route to visit Mt Nebo. (Memorial of Prophet Moses, the presumed site of his death & burial place. He was given a view of the Promised Land from Mt Nebo. Dinner and Overnight at hotel in Amman.
After breakfast (en route), we will proceed to the Famous Persian Hanging Gardens for a view of the Baha’i Shrine. We will then make a brief halt at Elijah’s cave at Stella Maris. We then continue to Muhraqa, the place of sacrifice and the site where Prophet Elijah defeated the False Prophets of Ba’al. Your tour ends at Tiberias nestled on the Sea of Galilee where Jesus performed many miracles. Dinner and overnight at hotel in the Galilee area
This morning after breakfast we drive through the landscapes of Galilee and Later for a ride on the Sea of Galilee in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat of that time. This is where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on the water. Visit Capernaum – the center of Jesus’ ministry after He left Nazareth. We stop at Tabgha- the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes and the expressive Church of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. We make a brief halt at St. Peter’s house, the Church of Primacy of Peter and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with His authority. This is believed to be the place where Jesus dined with His disciples. The flat rock known as Mensa Christ or Christ’s Table commemorates this event. Continue to visit Cana where Jesus performed His first miracle, changing water into wine at the wedding feast. Then on to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph and Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation built over the grotto where Archangel Gabriel appeared to announce to Mary that she would bear a son, Jesus. ?Return to your hotel in the Galilee for dinner and overnight.
Today after breakfast we will leave Galilee for Jerusalem via the Jordan Valley. We will first stop at Yardenit on the Jordan River, a traditional baptismal site. Driving along the Jordan Valley bypassing the ancient city of Jericho, believed to be the oldest city on earth, and viewing en route Mt. Qarantal, where Jesus spent 40 days when Satan tried to tempt Him. It is also the place where Jesus stopped on his way to Jerusalem, on the eve of the Passover and where Jesus cured the blind man during His stay at Zachaeus house.Descend to the Dead Sea the lowest point on earth (400 m. below sea level), make a brief stop at a private beach and take the opportunity to float in the salty buoyant water, rich in minerals. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
We will visit Ein Karem – the city of Judah and Birthplace of John the Baptist, son of Elizabeth & Zechariah and the Church of Visitation. We shall later visit Mt Zion with the upper room and King David’s Tomb. We also visit the church of St. Peter Gallicantu the site where Jesus was imprisoned by the High Priest before He was turned over to the Romans and the church of Dormition. Onto Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Visit the Church of Nativity and the Manger Square, view the Shepherds Fields and if possible visit Rachel’s Tomb. Dinner and overnight at hotel, Bethlehem.
After breakfast we will start our tour by visiting the Mt of Olives, the Church of Ascension, which commemorates the ascents of Jesus to heaven, the Pater Noster Church where Jesus taught His disciples the Our Father and also told them the secrets of the universe and the apocalypse according to tradition. Then continue for a panoramic view of the Mt. of Olives and from there travel along the Sunday Palm Tree Road by foot to the Gethsemane Gardens where Jesus was arrested. Along the way visit the Dominus Flavit Church, where Jesus wept over the coming destruction of Jerusalem. The chapel is built in the shape of a tear as a poignant reminder of this event. Dinner and overnight in hotel, Jerusalem.
Today we take the via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route by Jesus. We will follow the Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route. Visit the Chapel of the Flagellation where, according to tradition, the Roman soldiers scourged Jesus and placed the crown of thorns on His head, and the Ecce Homo Arch. Early tradition held that Pontius Pilate stood here and thundered “Ecce Homo!” which means “Behold the man!” which is what Pilate said when he presented Jesus to the crowd. Below the Convent is the “Floor” where Jesus was publicly tried and where the Roman soldiers mocked him. The last 5 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher visible from the distance, with its two silver domes. Also “The Tomb” widely believed to be part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
After the breakfast we will transfer to airport for departure to our home destination.
